The basic bed tracks for this
song were recorded on March 27, 1981 and consisted of a grand piano
accompanied by an electronic drum simulator (used as a reference click
track). Real drums were later overdubbed onto the multi-track. The following musicians made guest appearances on this master recording: - the orchestral strings were perfomed by Adele, Paul and Dick Armin (with arrangements written by Jack Lenz); - the trumpet was performed by Paul Irvine, and the tympani was performed by Lorne Grossman. |
